Miami Haze Strain

What’s the Miami Haze Strain?

In reference to the Miami Heat basketball team, the Miami Haze is a rare, immensely potent Sativa-dominant strain (70% sativa, 30% indica) that is quickly growing in recognition. It is originated from the original Haze strain discovered in the 1960s. It is created by a crossbreed of Mexican Sativa, Colombian Landrace, and Indian Landrace (Haze derogative), which are amazing strains.

Miami Haze Genetics

To fully understand Miami Haze, it would be best to learn about it’s parent strains first. Mexican Sativa, a Mexican landrace strain, is also a sativa-dominant hybrid. Landrace means that the strain has never been crossbred. Users report an uplifting, clear-headed effect with a wood-like aroma and taste.

Colombian Landrace, also known as Colombian Gold, is an original variety that has been used to make some of the most classic flavors out such as AK-47, Haze, and Skunk. It is a pure Sativa strain providing an extremely euphoric effect.

Indian Landrace, generally referred to as North Indian, is a pure indica strain that has a tropical and tea-like flavor profile. Most users report an increased appetite with an eased stomach, insomnia-relief, and deep feelings of relaxation.

When these buds come together, they produce the sought-after Miami Haze- which feels like a heavy blend of all three when smoked.

Miami Haze Flavor, Aroma and Appearance

Miami Haze buds are an emerald-like green, really fluffy, and full of trichomes with bright orange pistils. Some growers are able to give some purple hues to the nugs by using colder temperatures during the growing process.

Miami Haze is most known for its head-calming effects, with users reporting relief from anxiety and stress. As soon as you take your first hit, it starts with a cerebral punch that will have you focused and euphoric. This won’t last too long though, cause when it’s indica side kicks in, you’ll be couch locked and ready to relax.

This strain has a blueberry and menthol taste accompanied by an earthy, peppery aroma when exhaled. It will definitely activate everyone’s nose around you!
